Position Overview

This position will be held by an individual with demonstrated, current proficiency in Canva who is comfortable working independently in a remote, part-time capacity. Prior experience in birth work or the perinatal field is not required for this position.
The Social Media & Graphics Assistant supports the Content Team at Evidence Based Birth®, under the direction of our leadership team. The purpose of this role is to develop and produce polished, on-brand social media graphics, and to manage the scheduling of that content across our social media platforms, with Instagram as our primary channel. This is a paid, part-time position of up to 10 hours per week. Candidates will begin with a paid trial project, which will serve as the basis for an initial offer. Applicants must possess active, working knowledge of Canva.
Notice about the Non-Use of AI
Here at EBB, we avoid the use of generative AI in our workplace. You can read our complete policy on the use of AI in EBB’s workplace here. Do NOT apply for this position if you prefer to use generative AI (i.e. chatbots) to complete work tasks such as brainstorming, drafting creative concepts, writing captions, or other work efforts. This also applies to visual content, as we do not use AI image or video generation tools to create graphics. All visual assets must be designed directly by you in Canva.
Applicants to EBB positions are instructed to use their own thoughts and words when writing their applications or attending an interview. Our promise to you is that all job applications will be screened and reviewed by one or more human team members at EBB. No AI will be used by EBB during the screening, interview, or decision process.
